Welcome to Piney River Farms' St. Anne's-Belfield School Order web page.
We are a traditional family farm 35 miles south of Charlottesville, raising our own, Virginia’s Finest and Virginia Grown certified, all natural USDA inspected beef and pork, as well as USDA Grade A, A Bee Organic certified USDA organic pasture free-range brown eggs and natural cage-free brown eggs. Our Piney River Farms eggs are also American Humane, Virginia’s Finest and Orthodox Union Kosher certified.
All livestock has access to the outdoors. The cattle, goats, sheep and hogs are raised outside on pasture, with access to feed, water and shelter from the elements. They are not given any antibiotics, hormones, GMO grain, or any animal by-products. All animals are finished on pasture with grain. The animals are slaughtered and processed at USDA inspected plants. The linked ORDER FORM summarizes the currently available cuts and prices, which include a 10% proceed donation for St. Anne’s-Belfield School. In addition, to the stated products, special orders, such as whole carcasses, half sides, rack of lamb, and suckling pigs can also be ordered, depending on availability. Depending on the season, certain types of meat will be more readily available than others, and orders are therefore filled on a first come first serve basis.
Our Bovan Brown and Hy-Line Brown layers are housed in Big Dutchman aviary systems, the first of its kind in the USA, and are allowed not only ample access to daylight via wintergarden areas, but also over five acres of free-range pasture and woodland access during daylight hours. Thanks to our one-of-a-kind aviary system, our birds are able to maintain their egg production throughout the year, sheltering inside if they need from the elements during the winter and/or summer months.
Please complete the ORDER FORM and send it to us via email or fax. We will process the order upon receipt, and confirm availability, delivery date and the total balance due. Payment can be made over the phone via credit and/or debit card, and with cash and/or check at pick up. We will park our refrigerated truck with the prepared orders, in the lower parking lot at the Conway Convocation Center on Fridays between 1pm and 3pm.
